These 2 hour webinars will be delivered online.
All you will need is a computer or laptop.
You will be sent a registration link once you have enrolled.
You will not need to download any software onto your computer.
It is recommended that you book for all 4 sessions.
The webinars are interactive
There will be an optional Q&A session at end of webinar for 15 minutes
You will receive a unique set of notes

Day 1. Monitoring the Environment
Subtopic 1.1: Global Warming and Climate Change.
Subtopic 1.2: Photochemical Smog. 
Subtopic 1.3: Volumetric Analysis.
Day 2. Monitoring the Environment:
Subtopic 1.4: Chromatography. 1.5: Atomic Spectroscopy.
Subtopic 2.1: Rates of Reaction.  Subtopic 4.1: Energy 
Day 3. Organic and Biological Chemistry
Subtopics 3.1 - 3.7: Introduction, alcohols, aldehydes and ketones, carbohydrates, carboxylic acids, amines and esters
Day 4. Organic and Biological Chemistry
Complete topic 3.
Subtopics 2.2 & 2.3

A critical look at essay construction and presentation will be an integral part of this course as will exam preparation procedures. 

Seminar Leader: Dr. Keith Gatford B Sc  Grad Dip T PhD
Keith has worked at leading Universities for nearly 10 years and has been a senior Chemistry and Biology teacher for over a decade.
In that time he has achieved with his students, seven merits in Chemistry and seventeen merits in Biology.
Keith also assists the SACE board in moderation of both Chemistry and Biology and in curriculum development and review.

Seminar Leader: Mr Rick Todd BEd (Chem. Maths)
Rick has been teaching Chemistry in South Australia for over 35 years & has been a senior Chemistry teacher at a leading independent school.  
Many of Rick’s students have attained the perfect score of 20/20 in SACE exams and 7 in IB exams.  
Rick has also been a moderator and examiner of IB Chemistry and an accredited IB Workshop Leader.
