TUE 20 - THU 23 APRIL

Day 1: Differentiation. First principles,chain rule,product rule,quotient rule as applied to functions xn,ex,ln x and trig functions.
Day 2: Equation solving for the above functions. Applications of calculus to tangents and graphing. 

Day 3: Further appls. of calculus to rates of change,motion & optimization.  

Students are requested to bring their Graphics Calculator. 

12 BIOLOGY

9:30 AM - 12.30 PM
TUE 20 - THU 23 APRIL

Day 1. DNA and proteins, incl. protein synthesis. 
Day 2. DNA and proteins, incl. enzymes. Techniques for written answers. 
Day 3. DNA and proteins, incl. biotechnology. Acids and bases. Cells as the basis of life. 
Throughout the week there will be practice questions, including many from past examination papers and discussion of how to tackle different types of questions.

12 PHYSICS

Day 1. 2.1 Electric Fields & 2.2 Motion of charges in Electric Fields.
Day 2. 2.2 Motion of charges in Electric Fields (continues), 2.3 Magnetic Fields.
Day 3. 2.4 Motion of charges in Magnetic Fields. 2.5 Electromagnetic Induction.
The connection of theory to exam style questions will be an integral part of all sessions presented.
